paripanna परिपन्न
Definition: a kind of Samdhi or coalescence characterized by the change of the consonant म् into an anusvara, as by मोनुस्वारः P. VIII. 3.23, before a sibilant or before रेफ; cf. रेफोष्मणोरुदययोर्मकारः अनुस्वारं तत् परिपन्नमाहुः R.Pr.IV.5; cf. also सम्राट्शब्द: परिसंपन्नापवाद: R.Pr.IV.7.
