halṅyādinā sulope'pi pratyayalakṣaṇasattvādityata āha–svamorlugiti.
paratvāddhalṅyādilopaṃ bādhitvā `svamornapuṃsarā'diti luk. tataśca lukā luptatvena
pratyayalakṣaṇā'bhāvādāmādi na bhavatīti bhāvaḥ. datvamiti. `vasuruāṃsu' ityanene'ti śeṣaḥ.
datvavidheḥ padādhikārasthatvena tadante'pi pravṛtteriti bhāvaḥ. naca tatrāpi na `na
lumate'ti niṣedhaḥ śaṅkyaḥ, datvasya
subantatvarūpapadatvanimittakatayā''ṅgakāryatvā'bhāvādityāhuḥ. svanaḍuditi. datve
catrvavikalpaḥ. `uraḥprabhṛtibhyaḥ ka' viti tu na śaṅkyaṃ, tatra
gaṇe'naḍvānityekavacanasyaiva pāṭhāditi bahuvrīhradhikāre mūla eva vakṣyate. svanaḍuhī

śībhāve vimaladivī iti rūpaṃ vakṣyati, tadayuktaṃ, `diva ut' ityuttvaprasaṅgāt. naca
vimaladivī iti samudāyasyaiva subantatayā padatvānna vakārasya divśabdarūpapadāntatvamiti
vācyaṃ, `supo dhātu' iti luptāṃ divśabdottarāṃ vibhakiṃ?ta pratyayalakṣaṇenāśritya
divityasya padatvāt. naca lukā luptatvānna pratyayalakṣaṇamiti vācyaṃ, padasaṃjñāyāḥ
subantadharmatayā'ṅgadharmatvā'bhāvena tatra `na lumate'ti niṣedā'pravṛtteḥ. anyathā
rājñaḥ puruṣo rājapuruṣa ityādau pūrvabhāge nalopādikaṃ na syādityāśaṅkya āha–

pratyayalakṣaṇapratiṣedhā'bhāvena pratyayalakṣaṇamāśritya secityasya padatvāttatsakārsaya
`sātpadādyo'riti ṣatvaniṣedho nirarbādhaḥ. nanu secityuttarakhaṇḍasya padatve cakārasya
kutvaṃ syādityata āha–cakārasya kutvaṃ tu neti . kutve kartavye tu secityasya
padatvaṃ nāstyeva, kutvasya padāntavidhitvena padādividhibhinnatayā tasmin kartavye
pratyayalakṣaṇapratiṣedhasattvena padatvā'bhāvāditi bhāvaḥ. nanu dadhi siñcata iti
sopapadādvici #upapadasamāse ṣatvaṃ durvāraṃ, `gatikārakopapadānāṃ kṛdbhiḥ saha samāsavacanaṃ
prākra subutpatte'riti vakṣyamāṇatvena
secityasyā'ntarvartisubabhāvenā'padāntatayā `sātpadādyoḥ' iti niṣedhasya
tatrā'pravṛtteriti cet, ?tra sopapadātsicervico'nabhidhānamiti bhāva iti kaiyaṭaḥ
samāhitavān. padādādiḥ padādiriti pakṣe tu upapadasamāse'pi ṣatvaṃ supariharam. nacaivamapi
paramaścāsau daṇḍī ca paramadaṇḍī, sa priyo yasya saḥ `paramadaṇḍipraya'
ityatrā'vāntaratatpuruṣasyottarakhaṇḍe nalopānupapattiḥ, `uttarapadatve ce'ti
pratyayalakṣaṇapratiṣedhena tasya padatvā'bhāvāditi vācyaṃ, madhyapadatvānākrāntasyaiva
uttarakhaṇḍasya vivakṣitatvādityāstāṃ tāvat. iti vāntāḥ. atha rāntāḥ. vāriti.
vār?śabdo repānto napuṃsakaliṅgaḥ. `āpaḥ strī bhūmni vār vārī'tyamaraḥ.
vārśabdātsvamorluk, rephasya visarga iti bhāvaḥ. catvārīti. caturśabdo nityaṃ
bahuvacanāntaḥ, tasya jaśśasośśiḥ, tasya sarvanāmasthānatvā'ccaturanaḍuho'riti
prakṛterām. sa ca mi vādantyādaca ukārātparaḥ, ukārasya yaṇ, ajhalantatvānna numiti
bhāvaḥ. iti rephāntāḥ. atha māntāḥ. kim?śabdātsvamorluki pratyayala7ṇamāśritya
vibhaktiparakatvātkādeśamāśaṅkya āha–na lumateti. soramaścānyatra kādeśe
sarvaśabdavadrūpāṇītyāha–ke kānīti. idamiti. svamorluki rūpam. `idamo maḥ'
`daśce'tyādividhayo na bhavanti, `na lumate'ti niṣedhāditi bhāvaḥ. ime iti. auṅi atvaṃ,
pararūpam, `daśce'ti dasya maḥ' `napuṃsakācce'ti śībhāvaḥ, guṇa iti bhāvaḥ. imānīti.
`jaśśasośśiḥ' atvaṃsa pararūpaṃ `daśce'ti maḥ, `napuṃsakasya jhalacaḥ' iti num,
`sarvanāmasthāne ce'ti dīrgha iti bhāvaḥ.\r\nenadvaktavya iti. `idametadoḥ' iti śeṣaḥ.
idaṃ ca amyeva bhavati. tathāca bhāṣye `enaditi napuṃsakaikavacane vaktavya'miti paṭhitvā
`kuṇḍamānaya prakṣālayainat' ityudāhmatam. auṭśasoṣṭāyāmosi ca
`dvitīyāṭossvenaḥ' ityenādeśa #eva iti matvā''ha–ene ityādi. vastutastu
`dvitīyāṭaussvenat' ityeva sūtryatām. napuṃsake'mo luki enaditi sidhyati. enam,
enau, enān, enena, enayoriti tu tyadādyatvena siddhamiti bhāṣye sthitam.
paramārthatastu napuṃsakaikavacane'mi enadādeśaḥ. enam, enau ityādyarthaṃ
`dvitīyāṭaussvenaḥ' ityatra enādeśo vidhātavyaḥ. yena nāprāptinyāyena
enadādeśasya tyadādyatvāpavādatvena tyadādyatvā'saṃbhavāditi śabdenduśekhare sthitaṃ
bhāṣyapradīpoddyote prapañcitaṃ ca. iti māntāḥ. atha nāntāḥ. brāhṛeti. vedādau
vācye brāhṛn?śabdo napuṃsakaliṅgaḥ. `vedastattvaṃ tapo brāhṛā brāhṛā vipraḥ
prajāpatiḥ' ityamaraḥ. svamorluki nalopa iti bhāvaḥ. brāhaṇī iti. auṅaḥ śī,
`aṭkupvā'ṅiti ṇatvam. `vibhāṣā ṅiśyoḥ' ityallopastu na, `na
saṃyogādvamantā'diti niṣedhāditi bhāvaḥ. brāhṛāṇīti. `jaśśasoḥ śiḥ', tasya
sarvanāmasthānatvānnāntalakṣaṇo dīrghaḥ. he brāhṛnniti. `saṃbuddhau napuṃsakānā'miti
nalopavikalpa iti bhāvaḥ. atha ahanśabdātsvamorluki `ahan' iti rutve prāpte āha–
ro'supīti. lukā luptatvena pratyayalakṣaṇā'bhāvāditi bhāvaḥ. aharbhātīti. atra rutve
tu haśi cetyuttve guṇe aho bhātīti syāt. rephavidhau tasya uttvaṃ na,
rorityukārānubandhagrahaṇāditi bhāvaḥ. ahānīti. jaśśasoḥ śiḥ,
sarvanāmasthānatvādupadhādīrghaḥ. allopastu na, sarvanāmasthānatvāditi
bhāvaḥ.
`sasajuṣo ruḥ' ityato rurityanuvartate, `skoḥ saṃyogādyoḥ' ityato'nte #iti ca.
padasyetyadhiṃkṛtam. `ahan' iti luptaṣaṣṭhīkam. tadāha–ahannityasyetyādinā.
ahobhyāmiti. nakārasya rutve, `haśi ce'tyuttve, guṇa iti bhāvaḥ. nanu ahaḥ,
ahobhyāmityatra ratvarutvayorasiddhatvānnalopaḥ syāt. naca ratvarutve
nalopāpavādāviti vācyaṃ, `na ṅisambuddhyoḥ' iti nalopaniṣedhasthale he aharityatra,
dīrghāṇi ahāni yasmin sa dīrghāhāḥ, he dīrghāho nidāgha ityatra ca nalope'satyapi
ratvarutvayorārambhādityāśaṅkya nirākaroti–iheti. ekeneti. āvṛttayoḥ prathamena
`ahan' iti sūtreṇa-`padānte ahannityeva syāt, na tu nalopa' ityarthakenetyarthaḥ.
dvitīyeneti. `aṅannityasya ruḥ syāt padānte' ityarthakenetyarthaḥ. evaṃ ca
`ahno nalopapratiṣedhaḥ' iti vārtikaṃ na kartavyamiti bhāvaḥ.
ahanā, ahne ityādi. bhyāmādau hali viśeṣamāha-ahan. `sasajuṣo ruḥ' ityato
rurityanuvartate, `skoḥ saṃyogādyoḥ' ityato'nte iti ca. padasyetyadhiṃkṛtam.
`ahan' iti luptaṣaṣṭhīkam. tadāha–ahannityasyetyādinā. ahobhyāmiti. nakārasya
rutve, `haśi ce'tyuttve, guṇa iti bhāvaḥ. nanu ahaḥ, ahobhyāmityatra
ratvarutvayorārambhādityāśaṅkya nirākaroti–iheti. ekeneti. āvṛttayoḥ prathamena
`ahan' iti sūtreṇa-`padānte ahannityeva syāt, na tu nalopa' ityarthakenetyarthaḥ.
dvitīyeneti. `ahannityasya ruḥ syāt padānte' ityarthakenetyarthaḥ. evaṃ ca
`ahno nalopapratiṣedhaḥ' iti vārtikaṃ na kartavyamiti bhāvaḥ. padāntasyāpīti.
ahanśabdāntasyāpi ratvarutve bhavataḥ, padādhikārasthatvāditi bhāvaḥ. `grahaṇavatā
prātipadikena tadantavidhirnāstī'ti niṣedhastu pratyayavidhimātraviṣaya iti `asamāse
niṣkādibhyaḥ' iti sūtre bhāṣyakaiyaṭayoḥ spaṣṭam. tadante rutvapravṛtiṃ?ta darśayati-
-dīrghāhā nidāgha iti. dīrghāhanśabdātpuṃliṅgātsau paratvādupadhādīrghe kṛte
halṅyādinā sulopaḥ. `ahan' iti rutve, bhobhago' ityapūrvatvādyatve `hali
sarveṣā'miti yalope, rūpamiti bhāvaḥ. nanu sulope kṛte `ro'supī'ti ratve tasya yatvaṃ
na bhavati, yatvavidhau rorityukārānubandhagrahaṇāt. tathāca dīrghāhārnidāgha ityeva
yuktamityata āha–iha halṅyādītyādi. nanu nāntalakṣaṇadīrghasya paratve'pi
akṛtavyūhaparibhāṣayā halṅyādilopātprākpravṛttirna, sambhavati, rutvena nakārasya
vināśonmukhatvādityata āha–tasyāsiddhatvāditi. pravṛttasya
rutvasyā'siddhatvānnāntalakṣaṇo dīrgho nirbādha iti bhāvaḥ. vastutastu
akṛtavyūhaparibhāṣāyā nirmūlatvādiha halṅyā#ilopātpūrvameva paratvādupadhādīrgha
ityevocitamityalam. sambuddhau tviti. soratra
halṅyādilopātpratyayalakṣaṇamāśritya asambuddhau iti pravṛtterupadhādīrghā'bhāve
rutve, `haśi ce'tyuttve, ādguṇe, he dīrdhāho nidāgha iti rūpamityarthaḥ. atra
ro'supī'ti ratvavidhestadante'pi pravṛttau phalaṃ tu napuṃsake
dīrghāharnidāghajālamityādi bodhyam. daṇḍīti. daṇḍo'syāstītyarthe `ata' iniṭhanau,

allopasya sthānivattvamāśritya mittvādantyādacaḥ paraḥ pravartamāno hi
mumdakāroparitanasya akāropalakṣitadeśasyopari pravṛttimarhati, tathāca lopasthānibhūtasya
svasyaivātra numvidhiḥ tasminkartavye'llopasya sthānivattvaṃ na saṃbhavati,
sthānyapekṣayā pūrvasyaiva vidhau `acaḥ parasmin' ityasya pravṛtteḥ.
sthānivatsūtramapi sthānibhūtasya svasya kāryavidhau na pravartate, analvidhāviti

"bhidirvidāraṇe" asmādyāṅi "sanyaṅo"riti dvitve halādiḥ śeṣe, "abyāse carce"tyabyāsabhakārasya jaśtvena vakāre, "guṇo yaṅluko"riti guṇe, "bebhidye"ti rūpam. tasmāt "sanādyantāḥ" iti dhātutvātkvip, ato lopaḥ, "yasya halaḥ" iti yalopaḥ. bebhicchabdātsvamorluk, jaśtvacartve bebhiditi rūpamiti bhāvaḥ. bebhidī. iti auṅaḥ śyāṃ rūpam. jaśśasośśau jhalantalakṣaṇanumamāśaṅkya āha--śāviti. sthānivattvāditi. "acaḥ parasmin" ityanene"ti śeṣaḥ. na cātra allopasthānibhūtādacaḥ pūrvo dakāra eva na tvikāraḥ tasya dakāreṇa vyavadhānāt, tathāca tasya numvidhiḥ sthānibhūtādacaḥ pūrvasya vidhirneti vācyam, "acaḥ parasmin" ityatra vyavahitapūrvasyāpi grahaṇasyoktatvāt. "kvau luptaṃ na sthāniva"diti tu na sārvatrikamiti "dīdhīvevīṭā"mityatra kaiyaṭe spaṣṭam. nanvallopasya sthānivattvājjhalantalakṣaṇanumo'bhāve'pyajantalakṣaṇo numdurvāra ityata āha--ajantalakṣaṇastu numneti. kuta ityata āha--svavidhau sthānivattvābhāvāditi. allopasya sthānivattvamāśritya mittvādantyādacaḥ paraḥ pravartamāno hi mumdakāroparitanasya akāropalakṣitadeśasyopari pravṛttimarhati, tathāca lopasthānibhūtasya svasyaivātra numvidhiḥ tasminkartavye'llopasya sthānivattvaṃ na saṃbhavati, sthānyapekṣayā pūrvasyaiva vidhau "acaḥ parasmin" ityasya pravṛtteḥ. sthānivatsūtramapi sthānibhūtasya svasya kāryavidhau na pravartate, analvidhāviti niṣedhādityarthaḥ. "acaḥ parasmi"nniti sūtre pūrvavidhāvityapanīya "aparavidhāviti vaktavyaṃ svavidhau sthānivattvārtha"miti vārtikaṃ tu bhāṣye pratyākhyātamityadoṣaḥ. iti dāntāḥ. atha cāntāḥ. jāyante nava sau, tathāmi ca nava, bhyāṃbhisbhyasāṃ saṅgrame ṣaṭsaṅkhyāni, navaiva supyatha jasi trīṇyeva, tadvacchasi. catvāryanyavacassu kasya vibudhāḥ. śabdasya rūpāṇi tajjānantu pratibhāsti cennigadituṃ ṣāṇmāsiko'trāvadhiḥ." iti prācīnasya kasyacitpraśnasya ślokadvayena uttaramāha--gavākchabdasyeti.?rcāgatibhedata iti. "aniditām" ityañcergatau nakārasya lopaḥ, pūjāyāṃ tu "nāñceḥ pūjāyām" iti niṣedhānnasya lopo netyeva gatipūjātmakāryabhedanibandhananalopatadabhāvābhyāmiti yāvat. "iti prācīnasya kasyacitpraśnasya ślokadvayena uttaramāha--gavākchabdasyeti. arcāgatibhedata iti. "asandhyavaṅpūrvarūpai"rityanantaraṃ cabdo'dhyāhartavyaḥ. śatamityanantaramitiśabdaśca. tathā ca gatyartha pūjārthabhedanibandhananavopatadabhāvābhyām, asandhyavaṅpūrvarūpaiśca gavākchabdasya rūpāṇai navādhikaśatamiti mataṃ=saṃmatamityarthaḥ. etena "viṃśatyādyāḥ sadaikatve saṅkhyāssaghśyeyasaṅkhyayoḥ" iti kośācchataśabdasya saṅkhyāparatve "gavākchabdasya rūpāṇā"miti bhāvyaṃ, saṅkhyeyaparatve tu "mata"mityekavacanānupapattiriti nirastam. saṅkhyeparatvamāśritya itiśabdamadhyāhmatya navādhikaśataṃ rūpāṇīti matamityarthāśrayaṇāt. yadvā śataśabdasya saṅkhyeyaparatve'pi śatamityekatvābhiprāyaṃ matamityekavacanamityadoṣaḥ. navādhikaśatamityetatprapañcayati--svamsupsu naveti. "pratyeka"miti śeṣaḥ. "rūpāṇī"ti sarvatrānveti. ṣaḍbhādāviti. bhisi bhyāṃtraye, bhyasdvaye ca pratyekaṃ ṣaḍityarthaḥ. trīṇa#i jaśśasoriti. "pratyeka" miti śeṣaḥ. catvāri śeṣe daśake iti. "pratyeka"miti śeṣaḥ. svamsupsu navetyetadupapādayati--tathāhīti. gāmañcatīti. gāṃ gacchati pūjayati vetyarthaḥ. kvini upapadasamāse subluki go añca iti sthite. prakriyāṃ darśayati--gatau nalopa iti. gatyarthakatve "aniditā"miti nasya lopa ityarthaḥ. gavāk-gavāgiti. go ac s, go ac am iti sthite,svamorluki, aklībasyeti paryudāsātsarvanāmāsthānatvā'bhāvena "ugidacā"miti numabhāve, okārasyā'vaṅādeśe savarṇadīrghe, jaśtvacarttve iti bhāvaḥ. sarvatreti. avaṅādeśasya vaikalpikatvāttadabhāvapakṣe "sarvatra vibhāṣe"ti prakṛtibhāvāt "eṅaḥ padāntādatī"ti pūrvarūpasyā'pyabhāve satītyarthaḥ. pūrvarūpe iti. avaṅaḥ, prakṛtibhāvasya cā'bhāve "eṅaḥ padāntā"diti pūrvarūpe satītyarthaḥ. tadevaṃ gatyarthakatve ṣaḍ(6) rūpāṇi. pūjāyāmiti. "nāñceḥ pūjāyā"miti navopā'bhāvādgo añcityasmātsvamorluki, cakārasyāsaṃyogāntalope, nakārasya "kvinpratyayasya kuḥ" iti kutvena ṅakāraḥ. tato'vaṅi, prakṛtibhāve, pūrvarūpe ca , trīṇi(3) rūpāṇīti bhāvaḥ. pūrvodāhmataṣaḍa()pasaṅkalanayā sau nava (9) rūpāṇi. auṅaḥ śīti. gatyarthakatve nalope auṅaśśībhāve ca sati aklībasyeti paryudāsādasarvanāmasthānatayā bhatvāt "acaḥ" ityallope "gocī" ityekameva(1) rūpam, akārasya luptatvena avaṅādyasaṃbhavāt. pūjāyāṃ tviti. aluptanakāratvāt "acaḥ" ityallopo neti bhāvaḥ. tathāca auṅi trīṇi(3) rūpāṇi. pūrvādāhmataikarūpasaṅkalanayā pratyekaṃ catvāri(4) rūpāṇi. śeḥ sarvanāmeti. gatyarthakatve nalope sati, śau "ugidacā"miti numi, tasya "naśce"tyanusvāraḥ, parasavarṇa iti bhāvaḥ. pūjārthakatve tvaluptanakāratvānnumna. kiṃtu svābhāvikanakārasya anusvāraḥ parasavarṇa iti bhāvaḥ. gatipūjanayoḥ śau aviśiṣṭānyeva trīṇi rūpāṇītyāha--trīṇyeveti. goceti. gatyarthatve luptanakāratvāt "acaḥ" ityallope ekameva(1) rūpamiti bhāvaḥ. pūjārthatve tu aluptanakāratvāt "acaḥ" ityallopā'bhāve avaṅi, prakṛtibhāve, pūrvarūpe ca trīṇi(3), rūpāṇītyāha-gavāñca-goañcā-go'ñceti. bhyāmi gatyarthakatve nalope sati casya jaśtve kutve'vaṅasandhipūrvarūpaistrīṇi (3) rūpāṇi. pūjārthatve tu nalopā'bhāvāccakārasya saṃyogāntalope nakārasya "kvinpratyayasye"ti kutvena ṅakāre avaṅasandhipūrvarūpaistrīṇi(3) rūpāṇītyabhipretyāha--gavāgbhyāmityādinā. ityādīti. gavāgbhiḥ goagbhiḥ go'gbhi. gavāṅbhiḥ goaṅbhiḥ go'ṅ()bhiḥ. goce gavāñce goañce go'ñce. bhyāmi, bhyasi ca, prāgvatṣaḍa()pāṇi. ṅasau--gocaḥ-gavāñcaḥ-goañcaḥ-go'ñcaḥ. gocoḥ-gavāñcoḥ-goañcoḥ-go'ñcoḥ. gocām gavāñcāṃ, goañcām go'ñcām. goci gavāñci-goañci-go'ñci. osi prāgvat. supi tviti. pūjārthakatve nalopaniṣedhāccakārasya saṃyogāntalope nakārasya "kvinpratyayasye"ti kutvena ṅakāraḥ. tataśca avaṅsaṃdhipūrvarūpaistrāyāṇāṃ rūpāṇāṃ ṅakārāntānāṃ kugāgama ityarthaḥ. kugabhāve tu gavāṅṣu-goaṅṣu-go'ṅṣviti trīṇi(3) rūpāṇi sugamatvānnoktāni. gatau tu nalope sati casya kutvena kakāre avaṅasandhipūrvarūpaistrīṇi(3) rūpāṇi darśayati--gavākṣu ityādi. tathāca supi nava(9) rūpāṇi. nanveṣāṃ madhye kakāravatsu ṣaḍ()rūpeṣu "cayo dvitīyāḥ" iti kakārasya khakārapakṣe ṣaḍa()pāṇi(6) sakhakārāṇyadhikāni syurityāśaṅkya nirākaroti--naceheti. catrvasyeti. gataunalope sati, cakārasya kutve, tasya jaśtvena gakāre, tasya "khari ce"ti cartvena kakāre, gavākṣu-goakṣu-go'kṣviti trīṇi rūpāṇīti sthiti#ḥ. tatra "cayo dvitīyāḥ" iti śāstradṛṣṭa()ā catrvaśāstrasyā'siddhatvātkakāro nāstyeva, kintu gakāra evāsti, tasya caytvā'bhāvāt "cayo dvitīyāḥ" iti na bhavatītyarthaḥ. tathāca gatau trayāṇāmadhikyaṃ nirastam. pūjāyāṃ tu kukpakṣe gavāṅkṣu-goaṅkṣu-go'ṅkṣu iti triṣu kakārasya dvitīye sati khakāravatāṃ trayāṇāmādhikyamiṣṭamevetyāha--kukpakṣe tviti. nacaivaṃ sati navādhikaśatimiti. virodhaḥ śaṅkyaḥ, "navādhikaśata"miti sūtrakārasya matamityarthāt.ūhrameṣāmiti. pradarśitānāṃ dvādaśādhikaśata(112) rūpāṇāmityarthaḥ. a()āākṣibhūtānīti. saptaviṃśatyadhikapañcaśatānītyarthaḥ(527) a()āśabdo hi saptatvasaṅkhyāvacchinnalakṣakaḥ, "saptā()āā haritaḥ sūryasya" iti darśanāt. akṣiśabdastu dvitvasaṅkhyāvacchinnalakṣakaḥ, manuṣyādiṣu prāyeṇā'kṣṇordvitvāt. bhūtaśabdastu pañcatvasaṅkhyāvacchinnalakṣakaḥ, pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśānāṃ bhūtaśabdavācyānāṃ pañcatvāt. tatrāśabdena prathamanirdiṣṭena saptatvasaṅkhyaiva vivakṣitā. akṣiśabdena tu dvitīyānirdiṣṭena sūcitayā dvitva saṅkhyayā daśakadvayātmikāviṃśatisaṅkhyā vivakṣitā. bhūtaśabdena tu tṛtīyanirdiṣṭena sūcitayā pañcatvasaṅkhyayā pañcaśataṃ lakṣyate. uktaṃca jyautiṣeṇa "ekadaśaśatasahasnāyutalakṣaprayutakoṭayaḥ kramaśaḥ. aryudamabjaṃ kharvanikharvamahāpadmaśaṅkavastasmāt. jaladhiścāntyaṃ madhyaṃ parārdhamiti daśaguṇottarāḥ saṃjñāḥ." iti. atra a()āśabdasūcitāṃ saptatvasaṅkhyāmādau likhitvā taduttarato'kṣiśabdasūcitā dvitvasaṅkhyā lekhyā. taduttaratastu bhūtaśabdasūcitā pañcatvasaṅkhyā lekhyā. "aṅkānāṃ vāmato gati"riti vacanādityādi gaṇakasaṃpradāyapravartakalīla#āvatyādigranthato jñeyam. tathāca sapta ca viṃśatiśca pañcaśatāni(527) ca rūpāṇi bhavantīti manīṣibhirūhramityarthaḥ. tathāhi sau navānāṃ rūpāṇāmantyavarṇasya "anaci ce"ti dvitve tadabhāve ca aṣṭādaśa(18) rūpāṇi. prathāmādvivacane caturṇāṃ madhye pūjārthānāṃ trayāṇāṃ makārasya "anaci ce"ti dvitve tadabhāve ca ṣaḍ()rūpāṇi. pratyayalakṣaṇapratiṣedhāt. uttarapadatve kim?. `rājapuruṣa'ityādau nalopo yathā syāt.
`paśyati dadhī'tyādāvapi dadhiśabdasya padatve pratyayalakṣaṇaṃ bhavatyeva. uttarapadasya
samāsāvayave rūḍhatvāt. dadhisecāviti.siñcata iti socau. `anyebhyo'pi dṛśyante'iti
vic. dadhnaḥ secāviti ṣaṣṭhīsamāsaḥ. upapadesamāse tu prāk subutpatteḥ

enam enau enānityādi tu tyadādyatvena siddham. klībe ami lukā luptatve'pi
takāroccāraṇasamāthryādenadādeśaḥ. na caivametacchrita ityatrāpyenadādeśāpattiḥ.

svamorluki caritārthatbena bahiraṅge sāmāsike luki tadapravṛttiriti manoramāyāṃ
