nāglopiśāsvṛditām 349, 7.4.2 svāda ityeke iti. asminmate pūrvatrāpyāsvādaḥ sakarmakāditi pāṭha()m. nanu dīrghapāṭho vyarthaḥ, hyasvapāṭhe'pyupadhāvṛddhyā svādayatīti rūpāṇāṃ tulyatvādata āha--- dīrghasya tviti. "saḥ svidisvadisahīnāṃ ce"ti sūtreṇa abhyāseṇaḥ parasya sasya sakāro na tu ṣatvamiti vakṣyamāṇatvātsannante'pi sisvādayiṣatītyādi rūpaṃ tulyamevetyabhipretyāha--- asisvadaditi. ityāsvadīyāḥ. ādhṛṣādvā. vyākhyānāt, yogyatābalādvā ṇijiti saṃbadhyate. ayaukṣīditi. ṇijabhāvapakṣe aniṭko'yamiti bhāvaḥ. lī dravīkaraṇe. "linātilīyatyoryakā nirdeśa" iti bhāṣyakāroktyā "vibhāṣā līyate"rityātvamiha na pravartata iti dhvanayati--leteti. varīteti. "vṛ()to ve"ti vā dīrghaḥ. liṅi-- vūryāt. ātmanepade tu vṛṣīṣṭa. variṣīṣṭa. "sici ca parasmaipadeṣu" iti dīrghaniṣedhaḥ. ātmanepade tu avariṣṭha. avarīṣṭa. iḍabhāve sico lopaḥ. avṛta. rica.ṇijabhāve ayamaniḍityāha--rekteti. aśikṣaditi. "śala igupadhā"diti ksaḥ. tṛpa. aniṭsu śyanā nirdeśādayaṃ seḍiti dhvanayati-- tarpiteti. chṛdī. īditvānniṣṭhāyāṃ neṭ. ṛvarṇānnasya ṇatvam. chṛṇṇaḥ. chṛṇṇavān. *dhūñprīñornugvaktavyaḥ. hyasvaśceti. dhuñ kampane ityarthaḥ. avākṣīditi. "asyativaktī"ti lukā nirdeśādaṅ neti bhāvaḥ. "vacisvapī"ti saṃprasāraṇam. ucyāt. dhṛṣa prasahane. kecittvāditamāhustanmate dhṛṣṭo, mukhyamate tu dhṛṣitaḥ. nanvatra "niṣṭhā śīṅi"tyādinā seṇniṣṭhāyāḥ kittvaniṣedhādguṇena bhāvyamiti cet. atrāhuḥ-- āditsāhacaryādādita eva. ñidhṛṣetyasya tatra grahaṇāt.na ca ādito niṣṭāyā iḍ durlabha iti śaṅkyaṃ, "vibhāṣā bhāvādikarmaṇo"riti tatsaṃbhavāditi. ityādhṛṣīyā yujādayaḥ. athā'dantā iti. vakṣyamāṇeṣu dhātuṣu antyāvayavo'kāro na tūccāraṇārtha ityartaḥ. sthānivattvānna vṛddhiriti. "acaḥ parasmin" iti sūtreṇetyarthaḥ. na ca sthānini sati yatkāryaṃ tadeva sthānavadityanenātidiśyate natvādeśaprayuktaṃ vāryate, anyathā nāyaka pāvaka ityādi na sidhyediti vṛddhiratra durvāreti vācyam, "acaḥ parasmin" ityatra sthānivadityanuvarttya śabdādhikārapakṣāśrayeṇa bhāvā'bhāvāvubhāvapyatidiśyate iti siddhāntāt. sthānini satyabhavantyā vṛddherādeśe'pyabhāvāt. "sthānini sati yanna bhavati tadādeśe'pi na bhavatī"tyatra tu "na padānte"ti sūtrasthalopādigrahaṇameva liṅgimiti dik.
