Description:

Before a Taddhita affix having an indicatory ((ñ)), ((ṇ)) or ((k)), the Vṛiddhi is always substituted for the first vowel of ((śuci)), ((īśvara)), ((kṅetrajña)), ((kuśala)) and ((nipuṇa)) when preceded by the Negative particle, but this substitution is optional for the vowel of the Negative particle.
