pariśiṣṭo dhāturnānudātta iti bhāvaḥ. nanu katipaye dhātavaḥ pāṇininā anudāttā
uccaritā iti kathamidānīntanairavagantavyamityata āha-

tataśca dhānteṣu– krudh kṣudh (śyanvikaraṇaḥ),bandh yudh rudh rādh vyadh śudh
sādh sidh (śyanvikraṇaḥ)–ityekādaśa. manyetyādi tipa ityantamekaṃ padam. manyeti
śyanā nirdeśaḥ. chupīti ikā nirdeśaḥ. `tṛpyatidṛpyatī'iti dvandvaḥ. śyanā
nirdeśaḥ. libityādi yama ityantamekaṃ padam. sṛpīti ikā nirdeśaḥ. ramiriti bhinnaṃ

bhānteṣu– yabh rabh labh iti trayaḥ. mānteṣu– gam nam yam ram iti catvāraḥ.
kruśirityādi spṛśa ityantamekaṃ pamad. dṛśiritica irit. kṛśi diśi daṃśīti ikā
nirdeśaḥ. tathā ca śānteṣu kruś daṃś dṛś diś mṛś riś ruś liś viś spṛś
ityete daśa. kṛṣiritipṛthakpadam. ikā nirdeśaḥ. tviṣityādi śliṣyataya ityantamekaṃ
padam. puṣyeti śyanā nirdeśaḥ. śliṣyatīti śyanvikaraṇasya śtipā nirdeśaḥ. tathā ca
ṣānteṣu kṛṣ tviṣ tuṣ dviṣ duṣ (śyanvikaraṇaḥ), piṣ viṣ śiṣ śuṣ śliṣ
(śyanvikaraṇaḥ)-ityekādaśa. ghasiriti pṛthakpadam. ikā nirdeśaḥ. vasatiriti pṛthakpadaṃ.
śtipā nirdeśaḥ. sānteṣu ghas vas iti dvau. dahdihiduha iti dvandvaḥ. dihīti
ikā nirdeśaḥ. naha miha ruh lih iti samāhāradvandvaḥ. vahiriti pṛthakpadam. ikā
nirdeśaḥ. tatheti cakāraparyāyaḥ. hānteṣu– dah dih duh nah miha ruh lih vah

tudādau curādau ca matāntarīyatvena dhātupāṭhe sthitau tau anudāttebhyo vārayituṃ śyanā
nirdeśo'bhyupagata ityarthaḥ. ata eva `śe mucādīnā'miti sūtrabhāṣye tṛpato dṛpita
ityudāhmataṃ saṅgacchata iti bhāvaḥ. kiṃ ceti. anyadapi vakṣyata ityarthaḥ.
anyanivṛttaya iti. vikaraṇāntaranivṛttaya ityarthaḥ. taccāgre
tattadādrdhadātukanirūpaṇe spaṣṭībhaviṣyati. amī tatheti. uktānubandharahitānāṃ
vyāvṛttaya ityarthaḥ. etadapi tattadādrdhadhātukanirūpaṇe spaṣṭībhaviṣyati. amī tatheti.

- dhātvarthenopasaṅgrahāditi. `dhātvarthabahirbhūtakarmakatvameva sakarmakatva'miti `supa
ātmanaḥ kya'jiti sūtrabhāṣye prapañcitatvāditi bhāvaḥ. nacaivaṃ sati padavyavasthāyāṃ
`spardhāyāmāṅa' ityatra `kṛṣṇaścāṇūramāhvayate,spardhata ityartha' iti
mūlagranthavirodha iti vācyaṃ, tatra spardherabhivapūrvakāhvāne vṛtterityalam.
