viśeṣaṇaṃ, nāṅgasyeti bhāvaḥ. priyāstistra iti. `priyā jas tri jas'iti sthite
`antaraṅgānapi vidhānvahipaṅgo lugbādhate'ityakṛta eva tiruāādeśe supo luki kṛte
samāsādyā vibhaktistasyāṃ paratastiruāādeśaḥ. `striyāḥ puṃva'diti priyāśabdasya
puṃvadbhāvaḥ. `ṛduśena'tyanaṅ. yadyapi iha jahatsvārthāvṛttipakṣe triśabdasya
nirthakatvena strīvācitvaṃ durlabhaṃ, tathāpi bhūtapūrvagatyā striyāṃ
vṛttirbodhyā. `uttarapadārthapradhānastatpuruṣa'ityādisiddhāntapravādasyaivameva
nirvāhratvāt. `ajahatsvārthā vṛtti'riti pakṣe tu
`strīniṣṭhasaṅkhyāsamarpakayostricaturo'riti vivakṣito'rthaḥ, tena
priyāstrayastrīṇi vā yasyāḥ sā `priyatri'rityatra priyatriśabdasya
striyāṃ vṛttitve'pi na
tistrādesaprasaṅgaḥ,`pratyayottarapadayośce'tyetatsūtragatabhāṣyagranthasandarbhaścoktavyākhyāne
pramāṇām. anityatvāditi. `iko'cī'tyajgrahaṇamiha liṅgam. tathāhi—
bhyāmmisādiṣu satyapi numi `nalopaḥ prātipadikāntasye'ti tallopasaṃbhavācīti
vyartham. na ca `na ṅisaṃbiddyo'riti niṣedhātsambuddhau lopo na saṃbhavatīti
tatrāniṣṭavāraṇāyā'cītyāvaśyakamiti vācyaṃ, saṃbuddhiśca lukā lasupteti numaḥ
prāptereva tatra durlabhatvāt. `na lumate'ti niṣedhasyā'nityatāṃ vinā tatra
pratyayalakṣaṇā'pravṛtteḥ. nāpyuttarārthaṃ taditi vācyam, uttaratraiva kartavye
tatrā'cīti karaṇasya vaiyathryāt. `na lumate'ti niṣedhasyā'nityatve tu saṃbuddhau
pratatyalakṣaṇena prāptaṃ numaṃ vārayituṃma taditi bhavatyevā'jgrahaṇaṃ liṅgam. na
cedamanityatvaṃ saṃbuddhiguṇamātraviṣayakamityabiniveṣṭavyaṃ,
lakṣyānurodhenā'nyatrāpi kvacittadabyuragame bādhakā'bhāvāt. ataeva
`priyatisṛ'`priyatrī'ti rūpadvayamapi kaiyaṭena
svīkṛtam.

priyātisṛṇe. priyatiruāḥ. priyatisṛṇaḥ. āmi rādeśaṃ bādhitvā pūrvavipratiṣedhena
num, taṃ ca bādhitvā pūrvavipratiṣedhena nuṭ. priyatisṛṇām. dveratve satyābiti.
vibhaktisaṃnipātakṛtamapi tyadādyatvaṃ ṭāpo nimittaṃ, `na yāsayo'riti nirdeśena
saṃnipātaparibhāṣāyāṃ amityatvāditi bhāvaḥ.
aṅyantatvāditi. kecidiha `kṛdikārā'diti pākṣika ṅīṣamicchanti tanmate tu sulopaḥ
pakṣe syādeva. ataeva `vātapramī'`śrī'`lakṣmī'tipakṣe ṅyantāḥ susādhava iti
