tasilādiṣu parigaṇanaṃ katrtavyamiti bhāvyakārasya matametat(), na tu sūtrakārasya. na cāsati parigaṇane kiñcidaniṣṭamāpadyate. yeṣu hi tasilādiṣvanantarbhūteṣu puṃvadbhāva iṣyate, teṣūtatarasūtre cakārasyānuktasamuccayārthatvādbhaviṣyati. yeṣu tasilādiṣvantarbhūteṣu neṣyate, tatra "na kopadhāyāḥ" 6.3.36 iti neti yogavibhāganna bhaviṣyatīti.
doṣaḥ khalvapi parigaṇane--daracchabdāt? kapratyaye dāradiketyatra puṃvadbhāvo na prāpnoti; kapratyayasyāparigaṇitatvāt().
"śasi bahvalpārthasya" iti. śasi pratyaye parataḥ bahvarthasyālpārthasya ca puṃvadbhāvo vaktavyaḥ, vyakhyeya ityarthaḥ. vyākhyānaṃ tu tasyaiva cakārasyānuktasamuccayārthatvāmāśritya katrtavyam().
"bhasyāḍhe taddhite" ityādi. "hāstikam()" iti. "acittahastidhenoṣṭhak()" 4.2.46 iti ṭhak(). yadyatra puṃvadbhāvo na syāt? tada yasye (6.4.148) tīkāralope kṛte tasya "acaḥ parasmin? pūrvavidhau" 1.1.56 iti sthānivadbhāvāta "nastaddhite" (6.4.144) iti ṭilopo na syāt? puṃvadbhāve tu sati hastiśabda evāyaṃ bhavati. nanu ca ṭhakchaso (vā.732) rityanenaivātra sidhyati puṃvadbhāvaḥ? na sidhyati; na sidhyati; chasā sāhacaryāt? guṇavacanatvamiti bhāvaḥ. `ā kaḍārā'diti sūtrabhāṣye
samāsakṛdantataddhitāntāvyayasarvanāmajātisaṅkhyāsaṃjñāśabdabhinnamarthavacchabdarūpaṃ
guṇavacanasaṃjñakaṃ bhavatīti sthitam. prakṛte ca guṇavacanaśabdena etadeva vivakṣitam. `voto
guṇavacanā'diti sūtrabhāṣyasthaṃ `sattve niviśate'paitī'tyādi guṇalakṣaṇaṃ tu nātra
pravartate. ata eva `eka taddhite ce'ti sūtrabhāṣye ekasyā bhāva ekatvamityatra
ekaśabdasya guṇavacanatvā'bhāvāt `tvatalorguṇavacanasye'tyaprāptaṃ puṃvattvamatra
vidhīyata ityuktaṃ saṅgacchate. `sakhītva'mityādi tu asādhveveti śabdenduśekhare
