Description:

To the wotd khârû, at the end of a Dvigu compound, and to the same, when preceded by the word ardha, in a Tatpurusha compound, the affix ṭach is added, according to the opinion of the Eastern Grammarians. Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0
