"ṭiḍ()ḍhāṇañiti ṅībeva bhavati" iti. pramādapāṭho'yam. yathaiva hi baidīti jātitvādañantāt "śāṅrgaravādyaño ṅīn" 4.1.73 iti ṅīn bhavati, tathehāpi ṅīnaiva bhavitavyam. jātitvaṃ tu gotratvāt. tasmāt "śāṅrgaravādyaño ṅīn iti ṅīneva bhavati" ityayamevātra pāṭho draṣṭavyaḥ.

`yaṅaścā'biti viśeṣaṇārthatayā saprayojanatvādityāśaṅkyāha—nirdiśyamānasyeti.
ṣaṅāvitāviti. anubandhadvayakaraṇaṃ ñyaṅa iva ṣyaṅo'pi `yaṅaścā'bityatra
sāmānyagrahaṇārtham. na ca `ṣyaṅaḥ saṃprasāraṇa'mityatra viśeṣaṇārthaṃ tayorupayogo'sti.
anyathā pāśyāputraḥ pāśyāpatirityatra `pāśādibhyoḥ yeḥ'iti yapratyaye'pi
saṃprāsāraṇaprasaṅga iti vācyaṃ, `yaṅaḥ saṃprasāraṇa'mityekānubandenāpi tadvāraṇāt.
`lolūyāpati'rityatra tvakārapratyayena vyavadhānātsaṃprasāraṇā'bhāvaḥ.
`kaumudagandhīputra' ityatra tvekādeśasya pūrvāntatvena grahaṇānnāsti
vyāvadhānamiti saṃprasāraṇaṃ sidhyati. kaumudagandhyeti. aṇaḥ ṣyaṅ. vārāhreti. iñaḥ
ṣyāṅ. aṇiñoḥ kim?. ṛtabhāgasyāpatyamārtabhāgī. bidāditvādañ.
`śāṅrgaravādyañaḥ'iti ṅīn. `ṭiḍḍhe'tyādinā ṅībiti tu vṛttikāraḥ.
`aṇiño'rityatra tu laukikaṃ gotraṃ gṛhrate. `gotraṃ ca caraṇai'rityatra tu
pāribhāṣikameva gṛhrate. tena jātitvā'bhāvānṅīnaḥ prāptirnāstīti sthitasya
gatimāhuḥ.
