kathaṃ punaḥ "bhāve'katrtari ca kārake" (3.3.18,19) sarvasminnanuvatrtamāne kvacidbhāvaḥ kyabantasyābhidheyabhāvamupayāti? kvacidakarttṛkārakamevetyeṣa niyamo labhyate? saṃjñāvaśāt. yatrotpadyamānena pratyayena saṃjñā gamyate tatra bhāva evābhidheyatvaṃ pratipadyate, itaradudāste. yatra tvakatrtari kārake pratyayenotpannena saṃjñā gamyate tatra tadabhidheyatāmupayāti, bhāvastvaudāsīnyamavalambate.
