Description:

The affix ((ksnu)) comes after the following verbs in the sense of 'the agent having such a habit &c.' viz. ((glā)) 'to be weary', ((ji)) 'to conquer' and ((sthā)) 'to stand', as well as after ((bhū)) 'to be'. Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0

[The kŕt 1.93 affix 1.1] Ksnú (= *Gsnú-) is introduced [after 1.2 the verbal stems 1.91] glā- (glaí- I 862) `be weary', jí- `win' (1.1.9) and sthā `remain, stand' (I 975) [to denote the agent's natural disposition, duty or excellence 134].
