Grammatical Sūtra: अनत्याधान उरसिमनसी anatyādhāna urasimanasī

Description:

The word urasi, 'in the breast,' and manasi 'in the mind' are optionally gati when the verb kṛi follows, provided that they are not used in the sense of 'placing.' Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0

[The t.t. gáti 60 denotes the particles 56] úrasi `in the chest or heart', mánasi `in the mind' except when used in the sense of `placing upon' (án-atyādhāne) [optionally when co-occurring with verbal stem kr̥Ñ 72].
