Grammatical Sūtra: गृधिवञ्च्योः प्रलम्भने gṛdhivañcyoḥ pralambhane

Description:

After the causatives of the verbs gṛidh to covet, and vañch to go, the Atmanepada is employed, when used in the sense of deceiving, even though the fruit of action does not accrue to the agent. Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0

[Ātmanepadá l-substitutes are introduced after the verbal stems 12] gŕdh- `covet' (IV 136) and vánc- `go' (1.2.4) [co-occurring with the causative marker Ṇí 67] to express the sense of `deceit' (pralámbhane).
