Description:

The gu{n}a and v{r}iddhi substitutions, which would otherwise have presented themselves, do not however come, in the place of the vowels of dûdhi 'to shine,' and vevû 'to go,' and of the augment called ((iṭ)). Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0
