sati sā veditavyā. bhūtaśabdo hratra prāptaśabde vartate; yathā- "devabhūtaḥ" ityatra
devatvaṃ prāpta ityarthaḥ. nimittagrahaṇaṃ kurvan sūtre sthāneyogeti nimittasapta-

nimittabhūtasya kālasyāvasaraḥ prāpta ityarthaḥ. prasaṅge sambandhasya nimittabhūta ityādinā sūtrārthasyodāharaṇe sambhavaṃ darśayati. "brāuvaḥ" iti copalakṣaṇamātram. asteri-
tyāderapi hi ṣaṣṭhī prasaṅga eva sambandhasya nimittabhāva utpannā.
