kṛtsvara कृत्स्वर
Definition: the same as कृदुत्तरपदप्रकृतिस्वर, the retention of its accent by the second member of a tatpuruṣa compound, if the first member is a word termed Gati or Kāraka, by the rule गतिकारकोपपदात् कृत् P.VI.2. 139; cf. अव्ययस्वरस्य कृत्स्वरः M.Bh. on VI.2.52; cf.विभक्तीषत्स्वरात्कृत्स्वरः M.Bh. VI.2.52 Vārt, 6.
