nahuṣa नहुष

Definition: m. of an ancient king (son of āyu- or āyus-[ see ]and father of yayāti-;he took possession of indra-'s throne but was afterwards deposed and changed into a serpent etc.(see );according to he is a son of ambarīṣa- and father of nabhāga-)
