parīṇah Is the name of a place in Kuruksetra mentioned in the Pañcavimśa Brāhmana, the Taittirīya Aranyaka, and the Sūtras.
parīṇah appears to denote a ‘box’ or something similar in the Atharvaveda (xix. 48, 1).
parīśāsa Is the name of an instrument of the nature of tongs, used to lift the sacrificial kettle off the fire.
sasarparī Is a word occurring in two curious verses of the Rigveda. According to a later interpretation, it designates a particular kind of skill in speech which Viśvāmitra obtained from Jamadagni. What it was is quite uncertain.
