upadevaḥ उपदेवः देवता A minor or inferior god (as the Yakṣas, Gandharvas and Apsarasas).
kube कुबे (वे) रः [कुत्सितं बे (वे) रं शरीरं यस्य सः] 1 The god of riches and treasure and the regent of the northern quarter; कुबेरगुप्तां दिशमुष्णरश्मौ गन्तुं प्रवृत्ते समयं विलङ्घ्य Ku.3.25 (vide Malli. thereon). [Kubera is the son of Viśravas by Iḍāviḍā, and thus the half brother of Rāvaṇa. Besides, being the lord of riches and regent of the north, he is the king of the Yakṣas and Kinnaras, and a friend of Rudra. His abode is Kailāsa. kāṣṭhasya vā asthinaḥ āyatākṛtighanaḥ yena dyūtakārāḥ dīvyanti।

mohanaḥ akṣair devane paṭuḥ।

yaḥ sabhāyāḥ saṃsthāyāḥ vā pramukhaḥ।

sarvasammatipūrvakaḥ paṃḍita rāmānujaḥ asyāḥ saṃsthāyāḥ adhyakṣaḥ abhavat।

sabhāyāṃ pradhānam।

sabhāpateḥ svāgatabhāṣāṇād anantaraṃ sabhā ārabdhā।

indraḥ, devarājaḥ, jayantaḥ, ṛṣabhaḥ, mīḍhvān, marutvān, maghavā, viḍojā, pākaśāsanaḥ, vṛddhaśravāḥ, sunāsīraḥ, puruhūtaḥ, purandaraḥ, jiṣṇuḥ, lekharṣabhaḥ, śakraḥ, śatamanyuḥ, divaspatiḥ, sutrāmā, gotrabhit, vajrī, vāsavaḥ, vṛtrahā, vṛṣā, vāstospatiḥ, surapatiḥ, balārātiḥ, śacīpatiḥ, jambhabhedī, harihayaḥ, svārāṭ, namucisūdanaḥ, saṃkrandanaḥ, duścyavanaḥ, turāṣāṭ, meghavāhanaḥ, ākhaṇḍalaḥ, sahastrākṣaḥ, ṛbhukṣā, mahendraḥ, kośikaḥ, pūtakratuḥ, viśvambharaḥ, hariḥ, purudaṃśā, śatadhṛtiḥ, pṛtanāṣāḍ, ahidviṣaḥ, vajrapāṇiḥ, devarājaḥ, parvatāriḥ, paryaṇyaḥ, devatādhipaḥ, nākanāthaḥ, pūrvadikkapatiḥ, pulomāriḥ, arhaḥ, pracīnavarhiḥ, tapastakṣaḥ, biḍaujāḥ, arkaḥ, ulūkaḥ, kaviḥ, kauśikaḥ, jiṣṇuḥ   

sā devatā yā svargasya adhipatiḥ iti manyate।

vedeṣu indrasya sūktāni santi।

asuraḥ, daityaḥ, daiteyaḥ, danujaḥ, indrāriḥ, dānavaḥ, śukraśiṣyaḥ, ditisutaḥ, pūrvadevaḥ, suradviṭ, devaripuḥ, devāriḥ, kauṇapaḥ, kravyāt, kravyādaḥ, asrapaḥ, āśaraḥ, rātriñcaraḥ, rātricaraḥ, kavvūraḥ, nikaṣātmajaḥ, yātudhānaḥ, puṇyajanaḥ, nairṛtaḥ, yātuḥ, rakṣaḥ, sandhyābalaḥ, kṣapāṭaḥ, rajanīcaraḥ, kīlāpāḥ, nṛcakṣāḥ, naktañcaraḥ, palāśī, palāśaḥ, bhūtaḥ, nīlāmbaraḥ, kalmāṣaḥ, kaṭaprūḥ, agiraḥ, kīlālapaḥ, naradhiṣmaṇaḥ, khacaraḥ   

dharmagranthaiḥ varṇitāḥ te jīvāḥ ye dharmavirodhinaḥ kāryān akarot tathā ca devānāṃ ṛṣīṇāṃ ca śatravaḥ āsan।

purākāle asūrāṇāṃ bhayena dharmakārye kāṭhīnyam abhavat।

yaḥ maṭhasya pradhānaḥ।

haridvāranagare maṭhādhīśānāṃ sammelanam āsīt।

varaṭaḥ, kalahaṃsaḥ, sugrīvaḥ, cakrapakṣaḥ, jālapad, dhavalapakṣaḥ, nīlākṣaḥ, pāriplāvyaḥ, purudaṃśakaḥ, bandhuraḥ, vakrāṅgaḥ, vārcaḥ, śakavaḥ, śiticchadaḥ, śitipakṣaḥ, śvetacchadaḥ, śvetagarutaḥ, śvetapatraḥ, sitacchadaḥ, sitapakṣaḥ, haṃsaḥ, haṃsakaḥ, hariṇaḥ, sūtiḥ, cakraḥ   

haṃsajātīyaḥ jalakhagaprakāraviśeṣaḥ।

mama prakoṣṭhaḥ dvitīye aṭṭe asti।

rugṇālaye rugṇānāṃ kṛte nirmitaḥ kakṣaḥ।

rugṇakakṣe svacchatā āvaśyakī।

rugṇālayasya saḥ kakṣaḥ yatra śalyena cikitsā kriyate।

kasyāpi vastunaḥ śarīrasya vā dakṣiṇataḥ vāmataḥ vā bhāgaḥ।

haṃsaḥ devyāḥ sarasvatyāḥ vāhanam asti।

vanyauṣadhivṛkṣaḥ yasya phalāni triphalā ityākhyayā āyurvedīye auṣadhe upayujyante।

asmin vane bahavaḥ akṣāḥ santi।

citrapataṅgaḥ, citrāṅgaḥ, pataṅgabhedaḥ, āpannapakṣaḥ, kīṭabhedaḥ, kīṭodbhavaścitrapataṅgaḥ, sapakṣakīṭaḥ   

kīṭaviśeṣaḥ, patram iva citram aṅgaṃ yasya saḥ। bālakaḥ citrapataṅgaṃ samālabdhuṃ prayatate। /

nṛpaḥ citrapataṅgaṃ pāṇinā samadhatta।

aparādhādhikārasambandhe anyena virodhe svārthasambandhitayā nyāyālaye kathanam।

etad prakaraṇaṃ vimarśārthe nyāyālaye asti।

merudaṇḍaḥ, akṣaḥ, dhruvayaṣṭiḥ   

pṛthivyāḥ dvau dhruvau yena kalpitākṣeṇa yujyate।

merudaṇḍasya paritaḥ pṛthvī paribhramati।

pracetasaḥ sutā yakṣāḥ teṣāṃ nāmāni me śruṇu ।kevalo harikeśaśca kapilaḥ kāñcanastathā । meghamālī ca yakṣāḥ gaṇa eṣa udāhṛtaḥ ॥

sabhāpateḥ anupasthitau tasya sarvāṇi kāryāṇi upasabhāpatiḥ karoti।

tejomahālayasya anekeṣāṃ sthapatīnāṃ hastāḥ cheditāḥ iti kathyate।

kārāgṛhādhyakṣaḥ kārāgṛhe aṭitvā kāryāṇāṃ nirīkṣaṇaṃ karoti।

lālābhakṣaḥ   

narakaviśeṣaḥ।

yaḥ kāmena vaśībhūtvā sagotrastribhiḥ saha samāgamaṃ karoti saḥ lālābhakṣaṃ gacchati।
